What You Will Visit
1. The White Temple (Wat Rong Khun)

Construction of this unique masterpiece by artist Chalermchai Kositpipat began in 1997 and the project is in constant evolution. The entire structure is crafted from white mortar embedded with thousands of small mirrors, creating a unique solar effect. You will discover its diverse soul: from the main temple guarded by two imposing demons, to a dedicated Hindu temple and even a functional crematorium.
2. The Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten)

Wat Rong Suea Ten translates to the “Temple of the Dancing Tiger,” built where tigers once roamed. While the current structure was completed in 2016, its history dates back to 1905. The modern renovation was led by an artist who was a student of the White Temple’s creator, who personally funded the works at his own expense.
3. The Black House (Baan Dam Museum)

A vast complex of dozens of teak wood structures by artist Thawan Duchanee. It offers a macabre yet magnetic atmosphere with rooms decorated with animal remains: crocodile skins used as runners, massive anaconda skins, and buffalo horns—a mysterious look into the darker side of Thai philosophy.
4. Big Buddha (Wat Huay Pla Kang)

This spiritual complex features the massive 79-metre-high white statue of Guan Yin. You will take an elevator inside to the “third eye” for a panoramic view. The tour also includes the 9-story pagoda and a visit to the local orphanage run by the monks.
