8.30am Meeting with the guide at your hotel in Bangkok, heading West towards Kanchanaburi province.

Guided tour to Wat Tham Suea. The temple was built in a beautiful Thai-Chinese style. Visible from far away, the temple features an imposing Buddha statue and a chedi on top of a hill.

The Buddha statue, seated in the position of giving blessings, is covered with a golden mosaic. The huge chedi is 69 meters high and 29 meters wide. A staircase inside the building leads to the top. Each level has rows of Buddha statues and multiple windows from which you can take beautiful photos of the statue in a context of rice paddies and mountains.
